Need some help and advice
Good day,
Wonder if someone can give me advice.
I have a 2011 Hyundai H1. I was driving at about 120kmh and my I caught the speedometer needle jumping up and down and then stopped working. The car suddenly started to shudder. I geared dow and was driving fine after that. The I saw the fuel gauge needle moving up and down. Everything else on the cluster is working fine. The when I accelerate the engine cuts out at 5000rpm.
I checked all the fuses and wiring and also the air filter but can not seem to find the problem. I get no warning light.
Can all of this problems be because of the speed sensor that is mabe at fault?
I would appreciate some thoughts please.
Thanks
Lukas

Don't know
It could be the speed sensor
Or it could be the fuel pump
Reason for fuel pump is that when you ask for more the pump may not be able to provide enough fuel so the engine will cut out
However, at slower speeds, the fuel pump can keep up with demand and it runs okay
As you know, this is all a guess.
Your guess is as good as mine
If it is speed sensor, scan for Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
It will give better idea of where to start
