Hi,

I'm having a starting issue maybe someone can help me with it.

I removed my starter and took it to my local parts store to have it tested thinking it was bad.

However, after testing several times, they determined that the starter was good.

I replaced the starter and still, I'm unable to get the car to crank let alone start.



I'm attaching a video of what is going on. When the ignition is engaged for an extended period I'm noticing smoke coming up from the battery and engine.


You can hear the starter engage but it doesn't turn the engine over.

If anyone has any idea of what is going on or suggested fixes I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, there have been no issues with the engine. Just woke up the next morning after the car drove fine and was met with this situation.
