Default 2008 Santa Fe running rough

I had an issue with a rat chewing an ignition coil wire, so we replaced the wire, it ran fine for 3 days, then started acting up again, sputtering etc. Our code reader said injector 4 was the problem ( made sense as it was coil wire 2 that was chewed and replaced). We replaced the injector, same problem happening. Any ideas or has this happened to anyone else? Idles fine when cold, as soon as it warms up it runs really rough.

Another possible train of thought.
For a short time when the engine is cold , the fuel system is considered in open loop where addl fuel is available until the oxygen sensor get hot enough to transmit info to the vehicle computer and the system goes into closed loop , info in response out.
There are several "inputs" that the computer receives and makes the necessary corrections based in the info received.
Some inputs will cause the check engine lite to come on and a code sets to help provide some direction as to which system is misbehaving.
Any check engine light?
