2015 Sante Fe Sport ABS issues. Helpp
Okay my fathers 2015 is having some weird issues I cant seem to figure out. It ALL started when he left his door open over night and killed the battery. We jumped it off and let it run to recharge the battery. Later on he tried to leave and put it in reverse and realized he had NO brakes. The pedal fell to floor and barely worked at all. The speedo didnt work either.
he called me over and i looked and noticed that the ABS, ESC, downhill assist, and emergency brake light was all on. I took it to oreillys and tried to get the abs codes ran and it wouldn't read the abs, on the CEL'S.
I did some digging in the engine bay and found that the mutlifuse in the fuse box has blown the ABS section. I called around and NO one had this part so what I did was push the two broken fuse pieces together (i know, i know) just to see if it would fix the issue and as soon as i plugged it back in, it started glowing. So my thought is it has to be a short somewhere, right??
What do you guys think? His warranty is expired and he lives on not much a week so taking it to the dealership is out of the question. Anyone have similar issues?
Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, and see if that helps, then find another fuse and try again. possibly the low voltage thing caused one of the modules to lock up.
