Default Advice on potential purchase: 2013 2.4l Santa Fe

I have no experience with Hyundai, normally only buy toyota and ford (need my truck). Wife is looking at a used 2013 awd Hyundai 2.4l with ~60000 for around 15k. Should I worry about this engine? All my toyotas get over 300k miles, easily--then I sell them so they're probably still running. How is the 2.4l put together? Read some complaints on various websites, but you can find complaints on a lot of things...

Please let me know your thoughts asap.

Thank you kindly!

The 2.4L is a good engine. Reliable if well maintained. I have one in my wifes 2011 Tucson and one in my 2011 Kia Forte hatchback. But like any used car, it all comes down to the previous owner and how well they maintained it. Check the Car Fax and see if it has a lot of maintenance listings. Both cars I mentioned above we purchased used and had Car Faxes with long maintenance records.

Be very careful with this. I think old times with Mitsu style engine are over.
