Forgive the spiel am desperate now...
Nov 2013.. my 2000 Santa Fe began "not starting"! Long story short I had a new starter motor, new cam sensor, new glow plugs and it worked for a while.

March 2014 same problem again...spasmodically doesn't start without "easy start"!. (I know it not good to constantly use it!) So on advice had the fuel filter changed last week... was fine for 2 days ...
last 24 hours the idling revs have dropped to 500rpm and so 4 times today I have conked out in very awkward places! I don't want to drive it at the moment and really fed up...

Have been told to ask mechanic to check throttle position sensor and the EGR switch!
Anyone any ideas please.....
