Default Idles at 3000-4000rpm.

2001 Accent, 5 speed. When started warm or cold engine idles at high rpm. No tach to make sure but its high, 3000-4000 range. What sensor could this be? TPS, MAF,.....??????. Reseting the ecu works for about two or three weeks. It also does it without the check engine light on, but most of the time it is illuminated. Any help would be appreciated? Sam

most likely a TPS problem. one should never reset the ECM without reading the coeds first.
