Dead Battery Tail LP Relay Clicking
Hello, I figured that I would ask the experts while I charge my battery and try to find out what is going on.
My wife went to start the car and she said it's dead so she took my car
The battery voltage is 9 volts and I could hear a ticking (figured she was going to blow any minute
I pulled the relay and it stopped.....
Any suggestions while I wait for the battery to charge or what to start looking for?
Thanks to all!

Without looking at the part, are you sure it is a relay and not a circuit breaker ?
If you are sure it protects the tail lamps, you might start with checking the sockets and wiring supplying the lisc plate lamp , the rear tail lamps and front parking lamps. Pretty sure they all share the same power supply.

If there is a bulb that is out.....maybe they don't shut off when exiting the vehicle to make you look????
I know in computers voltage issues can cause wierd problems.....maybe?????
Thanks for the reply! Have a great day and stay safe and stay well.....will be back if more advice is needed.....see you all tomorrow!
