Default Lug nut issue.. new vehicle

Less than 400 miles on our new 2018 Ultimate. Was driving and noticed a gradual shaking in the vehicle. Thought maybe it was ice and/or snow in the rims, throwing off the tire balance. Sped up a little and it got worse and then worse, so I pulled into my friend's service station that I just happened to be passing. Snow and ice were not the problem. A number of the lugs on several of the wheels were loose, including one wheel were all of them were loose. Wow!

See if the dealer will do anything to fix the issues
See if the studs or nuts are broken

The closest Hyundai dealership is 220 miles from my home. Just easier to tighten the lugs and move on. Nothing broke. Drove the vehicle all day today without a problem.

Lucky the wheel didn't fall off.

Wish you luck with the new car.

Wow. You'll have to check the threads if the wheel was bouncing around it might have messed up the threads. Lucky you were able to pull over before the wheel flew off.

That would be a good reason to call the dealer and have it noted.
This way maybe they will warranty the work for new studs if needed.
Don't know.
