Default Nice day for a ride

Wife and I stopped at a [MARK MARTIN] Chev. dealer in MO. yest about 75 miles from home . just to browse and kill time before lunch.
While looking around the lot a salesman came out and we chatted for about how very few both new and used cars that were on the lot. Anyway he said take a look at that new 2O21 Chev. Turbo Equinox the one and only new car on the large sized lot. I was shocked at the sticker price with extras of $39,560. After further talk he said would you like to take it for a ride alone ? We said sure, after about 3 miles on the open road we drove back to the lot. He said how'd ya like it, I said not to be insulting but I would not trade even-up for my bright red 2020 Santa Fe SEL 2.4 with 5200 miles. He was kind of surprised, and the truth is I would not.
My S-F feels better in every way and is quieter, smoother & more comfortable on the road. A more substantial solid feeling....
Also another big plus is overall ours is better looking inside and out. JMO folks.
We traveled 160 miles overall on twisty hilly roads yest. and the average gas mileage at the end was 33.2 mpg. You keep your Equinox and we'll keep our S-F !
Not being able to get Computer Chips is killing car makers.
