i just purchased a 2008 hyandai sante fe and i cant get the dc outlet (cigarette outlet) to charge my garmin nuvi without a key in the ignition. is their a way this could be done. it worked in my other car but it wont feed power to my garmin without a key in the ignition. thanks in advance

 

the dc outlet will not work unless the key is in the ignition. it is different from the cig. lighter. make sure you are plugging it in the cig. lighter and not dc outlet
