Well, for the first time in my life, I have lost my full set of keys and of course that includes my keyless fob for a 2009 Santa fe. I know where I can get one at a good price but I do not want to make that drive to the dealership and pay the money to have it programed.

Is this something I can do myself and can anyone tell me how - and while you are at it, tell me where I put my distance glasses that disappear on the same day as my keys

 

You can get replacement fobs from eBay.com cheaper than the dealer but it can only be programmed by the dealer with a special scan tool.
