Santa Fe 2006 Turbo
Hi, I'm looking for some advice.I have a 2.2 diesel and for a while it has been losing oil but no visible leaks. It has now started smoking bad from the exhaust and huge loss of power. I removed the intercooler and there is loads of oil in there. My theory is that the turbo is knackered and blowing oil in to the intake.Would this be right or is there something I may be missing. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably tackle this myself. It doesn't look too bad to get at as the engine bay has good space, or is it a real pain to do? Looks like I've got to get the old one off for the part number as there's 5 possible replacements!

Thanks for the advice. I bought a turbo from a motor factor in the end. It cost over £400 including the old unit. I managed to replace it myself and it was easier than I thought it might be given the space in the engine bay. Just the cv joint to replace now....
