Default Spongy brake pedal on Santa Fe

Hello, I tried to find a post to see if any other Santa Fe owners had a spongy brake pedal..and there were no others..... hard to imagine.
Anyway we own 2 Santa Fe's his and hers. My wifes 2010 has a spongy brake pedal and I wonder if there were any issues with the master cylinder
on these. No other leaks found. My 2008 still has a firm pedal. She has 51k on hers.

How many miles are on the pads and brake fluid?

Default Spongy Brake Pedal

Hello,

In responce to question, we have 51K on vehicle/pads. Brake
fluid looks good topped out to max line.

The pads probably need replacing and I'd suggest flushing the brake fluid as well.
