On a 2002 santa fe 2.7, what power steering fluid do you use spf-3 or spf-4..? I called 4 Autoparts store 2 said it take any power steering fluid and the other 2 said it take a special fluid only from the dealers.,

 

Well i guess i will take a drive to the nears dealer 50 miles away our Autoparts store don't know either?..

Ok spf-3 do they sell it at Autoparts stores? I told them i needed spf-3 that met nothing to them???

 

SPF = Sun Protection Factor (ie: Sunscreen)

PSF-3 = Petroleum base Special Fluid 3

Go to a local Hyundai or Kia dealership to get it:



You can also use Dexron II or Dexron III transmission fluid. However, you can not use Dexron IV, V or VI. They are NOT compatible.
