Unhappy 2005 Sonata Help Please

Hi- I have a 2005 Sonata in for service at a Hyundai dealership here in Tucson, AZ right now and I really need some advice. My car is a manual, I am the second owner, but I bought it from a dealership and have the 10 year warranty (not that it's doing me any good).

My car has less than 46k miles and they are telling me it needs a new clutch and a new dual mass flywheel for a total just under $3,000. I brought it into the dealership because the car seemed to have no 'get up and go'- the engine seemed to run high without the car engaging into gear.

I am not new to a clutch, and the idea that the clutch is bad at such low mileage doesn't sit well with me. The first owner had the car for less than a year and I've had it since the summer of '06. The dealership called and told me that they wanted to replace all this stuff but if it "went bad again" they would work with Hyundai to get a new transmission. That doesn't sit so well either.

What do you suggest? Is it really likely that I need a new clutch and flywheel so soon? Is 3k a fair price? Why doesn't the warranty cover any of this

Any help I can get would be appreciated.

There are problems with the dual mass flywheels. However, there is also problems with the hydrolic system as well. The clutch might be good, the dealer might be taking your for a ride. What exactly is the problem with your car?
