Default 2006 sonata speedometer not working

i have a 2006 sonata v6 3.3 that the speedometer is not working at all and is throwing the code p0708 (Transmission Range Sensor Circuit, high input)I have replaced the speed sensor that is under the intake air box and the problem remains the same.. what can be cousing this problem, any help pls..

Your problem is a bad connection on the right side of shifter assy. Remove shifter trim cover and inspect the connection. Unplug it and you will find a burn mark . This is likely your problem. If you don't have terminals to repair you can run a separate wire to bypass the connector. There isn't much room to work with but is possible.
