It looks like it is a direct feed into the head unit and it does not go through the BCM.
Yes, it looks that way to me as well. Integrity of the harness lines should be easy to confirm with an ohmmeter. The USB port wiring looks conventional, but the AUX line has some integrated circuitry (for video?) associated with it.

UPDATE:

OK so here we are. I took the Electrical Diagrams to the Dealer and spoke with thier head electronics technician. He seemed interested in the BCM module as well. This prompted him to call Hyundai Technical support to which they have said they will look into. Apparently; I am not the only person with Head unit malfunctions. There IS a national back order on them and it seems to ONLY affect the Infinity Nav unit found in the 2009 Limited. The dealer did happen to have one in stock and replaced the head unit again. We'll see how long this one lasts.
