2011 Sonata Electrical Problems
Continue to have electricial problems with 2011 Sonata Limited. Now it is some brake sensor that prevents ingnition. Was told it was a simple part replacement by dealer. In less than a year, have had: 1) Sensor problem in gear shifter. 2) Bad XM radio. 3) Broken a/c vent on drivers side. 4) Sensor problem with brake. 5) Faulty clip on plastic bumber. Does this smell like a lemon or just new body style growing pains? Thanks!
The brake pedal switch is a problem Hyundai has had with just about all their cars.
No, it doesn't sound like a Lemon at all. A Lemon is not a car with minor problems that have been corrected quickly. A Lemon is a car that has problems that make it undrivable or unsafe and can not be corrected after multiple trips for repair. Basically a car that spends more time in the shop than on the road.
A bad gear shift sensor, bad XM radio, broken A/C vent, bad brake sensor and a faulty clip on plastic bumper do not make the car undrivable or unsafe and they were all fixed quickly so therefor, not a Lemon.
