Cold Air Intake for 2010 GLS
So i bought a 2010 GLS. 5-speed.
I built a CAI for it. Using the "build it yourself" kit from autozone. The intake went together ok, but i've noticed on REALLY hot days, it runs a little sluggish.
I have since turned the factory air filter sideways, because i was thinking the computer wasnt getting cooled, since it is directly behind the air box. This seemed to help. Is there anything else i could do?
I dont know if anyone has ever messed with this. I'm trying to keep this as factory as possible. I still have the original air duct in the trunk. Right now, the aftermarket intake set up, goes down and under the driver side fender well. Made a big differance in my milage as well. Well worth the $70 a spent on it.
Any ideas? I've thought of moving the ECU... TIA!
