I have been chasing a cold engine problem with an o4 sonata 4 cyl.
The engine almost dies with moderate excelleration. If I keep my
foot on the gas it will almost stall then rev back up to about 2k and
die of again. It doesnt die completely but rpms drop to almost 0 before
it revs up again. It only does this when stopped or below 30 mph.
because it only does this at slower rpms i thought it may be an ignition problem so i replaced plugs,wires and coil packs, with no change.
This problem is not generating a trouble code so it has me stumped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
