High I just found this site and I've been reading it for the last couple days and find that there are knowledgeable people here with a wealth of information. I wish I had found this site earlier.

I own a 2002 Sonata V6. The engine llight came on with two error codes. One was 305 and the other was 274. I figure that the 274 code trigged the 305 code.I do not know what caused the error code 274 though. If anyone can point me in the right direction to what caused the code and to correct this code it would be great.

Both P0275 and P0305 have to do with cylinder #5. P0274 is a problem with the #5 cylinder injector and P0305 is a misfire in cylinder #5. My guess is the injector is not working correctly causing the misfire.

 

Thanks for the info. You confirmed my thoughts, but I wasn't sure about the injector. I have to order it now.
