Default A few questions on the 2011 sonata

Does the new sonata have a timing chain, or belt?
The windshield deicer mentioned in the brochure, what exactly is it?
Is the leather a good quality, or fall apart easily....I am trying to decide on leather or cloth.
And lastly, how are the headlights at night?
I am not able to test drive one at night to see if they are good or not.
Thanks

Chain

It's like the rear defroster but the wires are only at the bottom of the windshield where the wipers park. It keeps ice from building up on the wiper blades. It doesn't really do anything for clearing the windshield.

The leather is good in my opinion.

I like the headlights but some people complain about the cutoff. Personally, I like the way the lights cutoff as not to blind other drivers.

Thanks Nova.
When you say the headlites cut off, is that in width, or the range is limited.
I drive a lot of highway at night, with little traffic.
It is not uncommon to see maybe 5 vehicles per hour, but 3 moose, and 100 deer per hour on that highway.

I have the car and the headlights on low beam have a definate limit to the height to keep from burning oncoming drivers eyes, however the brights are quite good in my opinion and the fog lights help quite a bit.

Thanks automattick.
I just find good headlites crucial.

I do a lot of driving at night and so far I find the headlights on low beam are quite good. Yes there is a noticable height cutoff but its a lot better than blinding other drivers.
