i have a 2000 sonata v6 and it appears i need to change the harmonic balancer or pulley because it is off about 1/2" and it keeps throwing the belt off. all the other pulleys are in line . it seems that the pulley has slipped off its rubber sleeve because i can see it hanging out the end . please help i need to get this car back on the road asap. thank you gregl

 

Yes it sounds like you need to replace the crank pulley. From what I have heard, this is a fairly common issue on this generation of Sonata.
