Default Hood won't shut

I have a 2019 Sonata Sport. My hood latch will latch when closing the hood but not shut. On two seperate occasions I had to push down on my hood around fifty times after it latched to get it properly shut. It just bounces back up like a bouncy ball when I attempt to shut it. Something is definitely wrong here. My 2015 Sonata never had this problem.

Sounds like the bolts holding the latch in place has come loose
Check the bolts holding the latch in place
Make adjustment as necessary

Thank you for the response. I will have the dealer check it out when I take it in for the first oil change.

If that doesn't solve the problem, the post or loop on the hood that holds the hood closed may need to be adjusted. Usually all that is required is to loosen the jam nut retaining the post in place then lengthen the post by unscrewing the post or nuts holding the loop a 1/2 turn or more ,if necessary, then tighten the nut oi retain the new setting of the post or loop..
