OBD2 Scanner

Will the OBD2 scanners at Autozone allow you to make modifications, or do they just read data and turn off the check engine light?

I believe most sold in the chain stores just read the data / codes . Make sure when purchasing the info states it does what you want it to.

Hi thos seems to be the roght place. Can anyone recommend an OBD 2 reader for a matrix 1.6gsi 2004

Cheap readers are available at Pepboys and Walmart.
But, that is all they can really do is read and erase DTC.
If you want a scanner that can do more it will cost more.
