Getting the following code with my 2007 Sonata, I believe this is the rear sensor located near the converter? Is this correct? Does anyone have a part number or a link to the part so that I could purchase? Thank you in advance.
Not knowing your level of experience, first get the sensor you might need from Hyundai.
Don't know what tools you have to work with, so we are limited there.
If possible , you might try replacing the mentioned oxygen sensor. Then try clearing the code.
If you read the scan tool carefully it does state,,,,,,,heater CONTROL circuit low. Not necessarily a problem with the O2 sensor.,but the control circuit for the O2 heater.
You might want to have someone with the tools to do voltage testing check out the control circuit.
If you provide your vehicle's VIN (vehicle identification number) to a Hyundai parts dept, they should be able to supply the correct sensor ,,if needed,
Guessing can get expensive and disappointing if the incorrect parts are used/installed.
To answer your question the bank 2 sensor is the side of the engine opposite #1 cyl and AFTER the converter.
I would still verify the control circuit is working correctly before condemning the sensor.
