Just picked my car up from the engine recall. Hyundai rebuilt the engine sofar im happy qith how everything turned out. It was bad at first qhen my car shut off and when i finally got it started again afyer all the normal tests and all that i heard the knock. Got my car to the Dealership and within an hour they put in the request for the new engine. A month later here i am.

im going to be replaxing everything i can a few performence upgrades nothing much just wanna add my touch. Anybody else deal with this engine recall? How wad your experience?

 

i had a 2013 hyundai sonata gls several months back that had an engine recall on it. In our case, car drove great. Then one day went out and started it, and had that "dreaded knocking". Instantly knew the engine was going bad. Took it over to Hyundai they replaced the engine quick. I dropped the car off on a monday and had it back by wednesday. was pretty impressed.
