I just bought an 06 Sonata and had to get an aditional remote. Can any one tell me how to program it? Thanx in advance.

 

If it's like the Elantra, you can't, plain & simple. Sorry. They make them to accept two remotes and that's it.

 

They gave me 1 whaen I bought the car. Then they gave me the second 1 later, thats the 1 that needs to be programed.

 

The same thing happened to us. When we bought our Sonata, they only gave us one key and one remote. A few weeks laer they gave us the other set. Take the remote back to the dealership and they will program it for you, or at least they should. If not, threaten to contact Hyundai, this works well as the dealerships compete for customer satisfaction ratings.
