I have an '03 Tiburon and I want to know are the Headlights interchangeable from an '06 Tiburon? I like smooth finish of the '06's headlights instead of my '03's.

 

Short answer, no. It appears the 2003-2004 models used a common part, but the 2003 bucket does not appear compatable with the 2005-2006 models. The bucket changed again for the 2007-2008 models.

 

The 2005-06 headlights lights will physically fit but the wiring harness is slightly different. However, it's not hard to modify if you really want the 2005-06 versions and I believe there is a conversion harness available now. So, yes, it can be done.

Should they be converted in pairs?

 

I don't understand the question? What pairs? Left and right? It would look kinda dumb if he has a 2003-04 headlight on one side and a 2005-6 headlight on the other.
