I have a 97 Tiburon, the engine has been bogging under acceleration. My mechanic has it running but the problem won't go away. Engine also revs when shifting fromn 1st to 2nd. NOT a mechanic so any info for a non mechanic would be appreciated.

 

I am having this EXACT same problem. 00 Tiburon. I've replaced the Mass Air Flow, spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, throttle position sensor, cam bolt, IAC, and the oil! My next move is the fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator. If you find out what's causing yours, please post!
