jump the computer

does anyone know how to jump the computer to a 2000 tiburon 22.0i4so the check engine will flash a code?

Sorry, your car has an OBD-II computer and codes can only be read with a scan-tool computer. Older OBD-I computers can be read by jumping wires. Good scan-too computers are cheap. Here's the one I use:
