Default My tiburon won't start??

I recently bought a 99 Hyundai tiburon FX. It's started and ran fine. I park it in my garage and it's been sitting there for about a week. I tried to start it this morning and it won't start. The check engine light is on. I checked to see if I'm getting spark and nothing. Please help.

Ps I read online it could possibly be the crank positioning senser.
Oo and Can someone recommend me the right obd2 scanner fit for my car.
Thanks much abliged

Yes, it could be the crank position sensor but you gotta get the codes to be sure.
As for scanners, go to Amazon.com and type in "Actron scanner" and pick one. Personally, I have the CP9125 model.

Something is wrong. If the Check Engine Light is on, there is a code in the system.
