08 tuscon stopped running at red light
My 08 Tuscon AWD was running fine. I Stopped at a red light and the engine started to run rough then immediately died. It sounded like I was out of gas (Just fill up earlier). After towing it home, we ran thru the basics.
!. Has gas
2. Has spark
3. Tried "Quick Start"
4. Injectors spurting gas
5. Relays/fuses okay
6. Changed the Cam Position Sensor.
7. Battery charged.
8. Checked for any corrosion on the fuse box.(none)
And no luck...I'm at a loss. I could understand if one cylinder went bad...But all at once?

Something or you to check.
take out one of the spark plugs and if it is wet see if you can lite it with a match.
If it lights and burns, fine, If it won't , you might have purchased a load of water.
Remove the fuel filter and empty it so what ever is in it goes out the way it went in. If it is full of water, you verified the cause. Let us know what you find.

If you are getting a good spark, I wouldn't go after the crank sensor at this time.
If the plugs are dry, it would indicate a no fuel problem.
When you first turn the key on , do you hear the in tank fuel pump run for the usual 2-3 seconds?
A good place to start would be to check all the fuses..
What we try is a quick shot of Carb and Choke cleaner spray into the air intake. If the engine will start and run for 2-3 seconds ,that usually confirms a fuel supply problem and we go from there.
What do you think?
