2008 tucson gls stalling
I can be happily driving down the road, at any speed, and it suddenly stalls. on slowing and pulling out of danger it never quits, it just idles along for a bit and then it intermittently picks up speed to normal. This can happen every few minutes to days. New plugs, new plug wires, new gas tank filter, injectors are good with good pressure. The test computer pulls up 1 code for transmission problem.
I am assuming, like the octogenarian i am, it is the ECM (ie 'brain') now I can't find it. Took out the glove box, nope. Checked all around the engine compartment, nope. I need to get the numbers of the ECM to program into a new one. Any and all help appreciated!!

It sounds like the issue with your 2008 Tucson stalling suddenly might be related to the ECM. While you may have already found a solution, let me offer some guidance just in case, since better late than never. On a 2008 Tucson, the ECM is typically located in the engine compartment, near the passenger side firewall. It’s usually housed in a protective case to shield it from heat and other environmental factors. If the ECM is indeed the culprit, replacing it with proper programming could resolve the issue, but I’d recommend confirming that it’s the ECM causing the problem before going through with a replacement.
