Hello, I’m having trouble with filling up on gas, every time I fill up, it clicks about 2-5 seconds of pumping and shortly after it spits all the gasoline back up through the filler neck. I’ve replaced the canister & the canister vent valve, is there any other common parts or issues that will continuously cause this problem??
Are you going to the same gas station and using the same pump? It sounds more like a bad nozzle at the pump.. My daughter had this issue, i have experienced issues like this.. Try another gas station or different pump at the one you use the most.
Did you disconnect all the lines and blow any foreign matter out of them ?
If the person filling the gas tank had the habit of trying to get all the gas in there that they could after the nozzle shut off, could have been the cause of the problem.
The vapor recovery system was designed and built to handle gasoline vapors ONLY and when over filling, liquid was thrown into the vapor system , bad things happen.
