Default 2016 Tucson. Start Vehicle with emergency key only

Is there a means to start a 2016 Tucson with only the emergency key found in the fob?
My wife and I have lost one of our fobs and was curious if one had the fob and one had the emergency key this would allow both of us access to the Tucson.
Thru research I see many vehicles have this 'hidden' function but I could not find anything specific for the Tucson.

Thanks

The fob transmits a coded frequency specific to your vehicle and without it , the vehicle will not usually start.
If you have had no problem locking the vehicle, that would tell you the fob is not inside the vehicle.
Replacements are somewhat expensive and need to be programmed to your particular vehicle.
Keep in mind the fob is also a security device, without which the vehicle won't start.

On some vehicles, the car can be programmed for the number of keys you want to register.
This could make the lost key obsolete????
But, would suggest talking to your dealer to find out if it is possible for your vehicle.

Only 2 smart keys can be programmed at once. Both must be present during programming or the other will be erased from the SMK module. The blade key that slides into the fob is only to unlock the drivers door in the event of the fob or car battery being dead. It can't start the car
