2016 Tuscon BSD system check comes on
2016 Tuscon BSD system check comes on and my rpms drop to 0 and my car loses power. There is no acceleration and dies. Once I pull over and restart it the BSD warning is still there but the power is there. Any thoughts on what the issue could be?
i am facing similar issue with 2016 Tucson 1.6. Did you solve this issue?
I did get it fixed. I got lucky and my check engine light came on. I have a cheap diagnostic machine that you get a code and look it up online. Mine ended up being the crank case position sensor. Less than $20 at the local parts store and did it myself in 30 minutes or so. i changed it within a few days of this original post and so far no other issues. I hope this is as easy fix for you as it was for me.
