Hello All,

It's my first post having just stumbled across the Hyundai Forum! Hello all :-)

The engine management light has come on our IX35, its currently at the local garage and they say the EGR valve has totally seized and a new one is required.

They have quoted £1045 for the part + labour to fit? This seems really excessive to me, but tbh I don;t know?

Does this sound right to other Hyundai owners?

 

Where is the EGR?

 

i believe its on the right hand side as you look at the engine.
