Default IX35 Fuel consumption

Hi I have an 2010 IX35 / Tucson elite (4wd) and have always had pretty poor fuel consumption. I get about 430 km off a full tank. Screen reads around 9.4 Litres per 100 km but when I do the maths its closer to 12litres per 100.
This is with driving fairly conservatively and probably a 70% highway 30% town driving, if I just do around town its closer to 15 litres per 100 km.
What is everyone else getting with their cars and can you recommend anything to improve consumption.
Car is regularly service and all checks out well. New tyres just fitted and balanced and aligned and no improvements
any help appreciated.Thanks

Recommendation: a lighter right foot. The majority of fuel consumption is driver based.
