Hi all, first post for me.
My Tucson 2011 engine makes a loud clicking sound. Any ideas? I have been reading around that it is pretty common. Only afraid the engine might be dying, at least according to a mechanic that checked it.

Have you considered a second or even a third opinion ? Something that expensive , if that is what it is , should always get another opinion.
As much as we would like to offer an opinion here ,that would not be wise since we can't actually hear the noise.
