Hello all,

I have a '07 Hyundai Tucson GLS w/ ~93k miles on it. This morning while driving to work I noticed an intermittent mechanical clicking sound coming from behind the dashboard, near the glovebox.

It happened off and on while driving and while stopped, and it seemed to get a little louder when I turned on the AC.

Has anyone experienced this before? I just paid the car off yesterday so of course something goes wrong, smh.

I need some insight here guys and I'm not about to take my car to the stealership.

 

Clicking sound starts up as soon as I touch gas peddle and stops as soon as I take my foot off of the gas peddle. Midas guy told me it's my motor and to take it to a Hyundai service. I told him I'm leaving on a 600 mile trip and he said the car would be okay? Anyone have a clue what the clicking sound is? Car has 55,000 miles on it.
