I'm assuming this problem is different based on car model, and I couldn't find a relevant post for this topic for a 2002 Hyundai Accent. Can you help me?

It rained last night I guess. Didn't hear anything, so it couldn't have been too crazy. But I opened my car today and found that the floor of the driver's side was soaking wet, including the floor mat. No windows were open, no doors were open. I checked around, and felt up under the dash, and found water back there. Just not sure where the leak is coming from. Does this possibly mean the plastic piece attached to the bottom of the windshield is loose or something, so water is getting down there under the hood? Just not sure how to trouble-shoot. If anyone has experience with this problem please let me know. Thanks.

 

I have seen amplifier wires from battery that go through fire wall leak water if not sealed. If you have a radio amp installed check that. If not you have to water leak test with hose
