I cannot find the location of the Tucson tailgate switch. I suspect this to be faulty as it does not show that the tailgate or tailgate window is open on the dash cluster and this and plays havoc with central locking system. Anyone know where the switch is allocated and what should I be looking for? Thanks

 

It's part of the latch itself. It's not a separate switch.

 

Thanks for the response. I figure that the micro switch is likely to be damaged as a result of years of slamming the trunk closed. I think changing the latch should repair the issue.

 

Hi,
I was suspecting the talegate lock is became faulty so I changed with new one.
Before changing the lock the indication some time getting off but after changing the lock it is continually ON.
Moreover along with it the oil indication start appearing on dashboard.
Can anyone help me????
