Default 2010 Veracruz FRONT wiper blade replacement

Hi,

This is my first post on the forum - I just bought my 2010 Veracruz GLS 10 days ago.

Yesterday I tried to replace my front wiper blades with Michelin Stealth blades (made by Pylon). According to all of their fitment charts, the blades should fit using the "top lock" adapter.

Well, the adapter fits, but the mount area of the blade is too wide to fit into the Hyundai "receiver" on the arm, right below the adapter.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is it possible to fit aftermarket blades to the front of the Veracruz?

Thanks in advance,

Orange260z

I forgot my password, so I couldn't respond to your post.

I too am replacing all my wiper blades, or at least getting the replacements so I'm not struggling to find them now. I've been using Rain-x to hold me over for a long time now
For the fronts, it uses the Push Button mount (not narrow)
I think the driver is 24" and the passenger is 20"

EDIT: I think any blade will work, as long as it comes with that attachement. I just looked at a Rainx brand blade and it came with it
for the rear, it uses a Roc Lock type of mount (pretty sure it's roc lock 3)

The Brand I learned this from is Trico. They have wipers that will fit the Veracruz, and not say they fit like all the others. Use their website to find the right one.
If you do end up buying one, let me know so I know the exact one to get, thanks!
