Just purchased a 2003 Elantra GLS and have issue with locking all doors with the key. By in setting the key in the drivers door you are able to unlock all doors but ONLY LOCK the DRIVERS DOOR!!! What needs to be replaced?? I checked the connector to the actuator and it seemed fine or is it internal?? I went to a dealer and they couldn't help!!! Make an appointment at $105 an hour and maybe we can figure it out!!! They weren't even sure if the key should unlock and lock all doors. Also this car has no fob!

 

I am unsure but I think using the user setting on the Hyundai scanner can set that for you...Its designed to work both ways depending on how the driver wants it....I do not think there is anything wrong with the system just needs to be reprogrammed to unlock all the doors...I know I can do that with the newer cars....Its possible that is not an option on that year Elantra
