Hi Jay,

1) I am stuck! I was driving my Santa Fe sport to Las Vegas 2 weeks ago going about 80 mph when I lost gas power and it sounded like the engine just shut down! I still had working lights and radio!

2) I could not start it since then! I have replaced the battery which a O’Reillys tech labeled it having a bad battery cell! I have charged the battery and its cold cranking amps are good, all cables and terminals are fine!

3) I have replaced the started as well! Got it tested and it was bad, I also replaced the spark plugs, they were also bad! Crazy right? I have 129k miles on it!

4) I have checked all fuses under hood and relays( it seems to me that I am missing my VACUUM PUMP RELAY & my Vacuum pump fuse 20A, also missing on right side IG1 relay, and right above that missing the ACC relay, also the P/Tail Gate small 40 fuse! *IS THIS NORMAL TO BE MISSING ALL THIS? Please advise?

5) a) I have manually turned the engine over to make sure it wasn’t seized up with a 22 socket! I have added a cap full of mystery oil into 4 spark plug holes! Nothing!
B) Each time I would try and start my car after replacing new battery, starter, and spark plugs, I saw and smelled smoke coming from starter area of engine bay! Nothing big just a slight excerpt of smoke!

The damn thing won’t start! I am not a mechanic , but im struggling so I can’t just take it into a shop, I have to do this myself ! I’ve watched 100 you tube videos and I don’t know where I should begin now!

I bought this 1 year ago! What a joke!
