I own an '05 Elantra GT. I'm planning on putting in full rally suspension a turbo kit and a manual tranny conversion.

Welcome to the forum. But why not just start with a manual trans Elantra GT? The swap isn't easy or cheap.

I realize that. What I'm saying is selling the Elantra with the auto and buying another Elantra that already has a manual will usually be cheaper. It's alsofaster,easier and more reliable.
