Hyundai santa fe 2.2 2006 oil leak
Heya. so i have a pretty bad oil leak, it looks like its coming from behind the unit that the intercooler is connected to. i can see it running down the cable for alternator and then jumps from hose to hose to belly pan to floor.
any help or advise much appreciated
Thanks Matty

A good portion of the time if the leak is up high on the engine it can be the oil pressure sending unit or valve cover gasket.
But we need to verify this before jumping to conclusions.
The best way to accomplish this is to clean the area with something like "Brakekleen" available at any auto supply store. Use according to the directions, and spray it over the area where you suspect the leak is originating. It cleans and dries fast. That makes it much easier to pin down the exact area and we go from there.
