Default Smoking 2018 grand i10

hi my 2018 i10 just starting throwing white smoke and braking up when reving to 2000rpm also picking while driving and now starting misfiring I have checked the fuel pump filter for dirt seems to be clean the mechanic is saying the fuel pump is not supplying enough pressure and assistance as to what could be the cause

Usually when we get an unusual amount of white smoke, there is coolant getting into the combustion chamber.

Has your vehicle overheated recently?

Usually low fuel pressure will produce performance problems, but never any smoke problem.
Has anyone checked the coolant level in the cooling system?
